How to lose your mind in 3 days.
welcome to my ted talk.
day 1: dwell on your past, all of your mistakes and all of your failed connections, then reach out to them in hopes that time just magically poofed them into a whole different person with different feelings and emotions (whether it’s just fundamental incompatibility or just one of you being a horrible person, nothing changed).
day 2: think about your dream summer body and how much you want it, but then continue to binge on food because of how much you feel bad from day 1. Or alternatively, overexercise and restrict food obsessively (bonus points if it is an illusion. Your body is not the core problem and it will never fix the other problems in your life).
day 3: look at all the instagram posts about marriage. Bonus points if it’s an ex of yours or just someone who was really obsessed with you. Extra bonus points if they gave the person that they’re marrying everything that you wanted to have but never did.
